touch of pink
I am still searching for pink ideas, solutions of how to combine this feminine color with my other half s masculine tastes.
Geometrical patterns, rough grey blankets and bright pink pillow seems a solution my husband would accept and even like it.
So my pink project triggered men interests in my family for sure or I guess they are just worried they will wake up one day in a bonbon pink home :) my son voted for a decorative pink pig... this is the most he would accept... so we are still searching, I will let you know, how things are evolving :)

art and interior design
I love both art and interior design, I am not sure which one I love more, I consider panting and photography a more intimate way of self expression, and interior design a more pragmatical way of making our life/space more beautiful, but for sure I could never imagine a home, an interior without art, since where human beings are living/working etc. there must be art, self expressions also.
As about the power of art in interior design I guess we all know that single piece of art could change a whole design scheme, could give a whole other meaning to the space and ultimately could have a whole different impact on the people s attitude that are living there or just using that space.
I just find intriguing for example the place/role of the clown in this minimalist white Scandinavian interior and the story could be continued in various ways depending on our imagination... :)

hotel Mandarin Oriental Barcelona
One of my favorite color combination; yellow/gold and black/grey, I found a stunning example how exiting could be these two contrasting colors together. The subtle use of yellow, gold or yellow light in a elegant, minimalist white or dark design scheme is just breathtaking!

mood rooms
A hotel that offers more than just a bed, they offer sensations, complete relaxation, therapy even, since colors, colorful light heal: light our spirit, awake our senses.
So light yourself up next time at Nordic Light Hotel you are in Stockholm.
